Honey Chipotle Wings

These wings are sweet and spicy and with lots of smokey flavor.


Servings: 4 - 6 
Prep Time: 5 minutes
Cook Time: 25 minutes
Ready In: 30 Minutes

Ingredients:

30 fresh grade A wings (you can use frozen but thaw them out and pat dry)
1 cup flour
1 tsp ground pepper
1 Tbsp garlic powder
1 Tbsp Onion powder
1 Tbsp chili powder
1 tsp salt
1 Tbsp adobo seasoning
Vegetable oil for frying or you can bake 450 on a greased baking sheet 22 minutes each side

For The Sauce

1/2 cup chipotle in adobo sauce
1/2 cup honey
1 Tbsp lime juice
1 tsp salt
1 Tbsp finely minced garlic
1 tsp onion powder
2 Tbsp butter

Directions:

Heat oil to 375 F / Skip if baking

Whisk flour and all spices in a medium bowl until well blended then toss all fresh wings in the flour mixture and set to the side.

Fry wings for about 12 - 15 minutes until golden brown and crispy then pat dry with paper towels.

In a medium pot over medium heat add the butter, garlic, honey and adobo sauce just using the sauce part that's in the can not the actual peppers. Stir well then add the lime juice and the rest of the spices

Turn heat to medium high and bring sauce to a full boil then reduce heat to low and simmer for about 12-15 minutues until sauce reduces and thickens. 

Once wings are fried and sauce is done just toss wings in the sauce and serve.
